Hydraulic Generator Design

Our standard design allows for the same manifold to be utilised for a range of power ratings from 2.5kVa up to 14kVa

By simply interchanging the hydraulic motor we are able to optimise and adapt the system to deliver the power required utilising maximum flow and minimum pressure. The integrated pressure compensated flow control valve can regulate flow up to 37.9 litres per minute at 220 bar or approximately 14kVa. Ideally you should always seek to utilise the maximum pump flow available and minimise the pressure required, this will reduce heat generation and improve system life, we have therefore designed the system to be able to incorporate hydraulic motors from 4cc per rev up to 12cc per rev and with our standard AC hydraulic generators this means we can work with regulated flow rates from 12 litres per minute up to 36 litres per minute up to a maximum of 220 bar and a maximum unregulated pump flow rate of 56.8 litres per minute. So for example we can provide a 3.5kVa hydraulic generator with 12 litres per minute flow per minute at 175 bar on full load or a 3.5kVa hydraulic generator with 36 litres of flow per minute at 60 bar or at the top end 36 litres of flow per minute at 220 bar providing power of  approximately ideally you should always aim to use maximum flow with the minimum pressure for the power required
