With 1000's of HG Hydraulic Generators now in use throughout the world, we must have got something right.
It's now over 20 years since we built our first Hydraulic Generator and to be honest not a great deal has changed since the original design, as they say if it isn't broken don't fix it!
We basically set out to design a hydraulic generator that could be installed onto newly manufactured access platforms or retrospectively installed onto existing MEWP's and not design a hydraulic generator and retospectively make it fit access platforms. It amazes me to this day that so many MEWP manufacturers still purchase and install hydraulic generators that they have to "make" fit their machines. Our hydraulic generator is compatible with almost all access platforms new and old, it incorporates all the required components to easily and quickly integrate into the existing hydraulic circuit with the exception of hoses and hydraulic fittings.

We received 8 pages of instructions from the manufacturer on how to install a competitors hydraulic generator which required 18 no. hydraulic fittings, 3 new hoses and 2 new steel pipes, sheet metal fabrication and welding, mounting and connection of two separate manifolds. We used 6 fittings, 3 hoses, no steel pipes, no fabrication and no welding.
